Offered to market for the first time, this exceptional example of one of our favourite limited editions of the Gaydon production era, the UB-2010 Edition DBS Volante.

Over his of stewardship, Dr Bez could amongst his many achievements could justifiably claim responsibility for the creation of Aston Martin’s iconic Gaydon factory, introducing and producing the highly successful line of VH architecture cars, before his retirement in 2014.

Unveiled at the Geneva Salon in 2010, the exclusive limited production UB-2010 edition Aston Martin DBS Volante was created to honour the renowned Aston Martin CEO, Dr Ulrich Bez ten years of tenure. Renowned for his engineering background and visionary leadership, the UB-2010 Edition is a fitting tribute to Dr Bez’s discerning taste and reputation for exceptional detail.

Finished in Azurite Black (actually an ultra dark blue!) with Bronze Metallic hides with woven leather seat inserts and Cryptic Titan facia panel. An Atlantic Blue convertible hood completes the sublime livery of this limited-edition model. Additional UB-2010 specification details included; 2011MY DBS Volante, 2+2 seating configuration, Touchtronic 2 transmission, 20 inch 10 spoke diamond turned wheels with Azurite paint finish, Blue brake calipers, Carbon Fibre rear light infills and door mirror caps, Magnum silver mesh pack, Obsidian Black Rokona headlining, Bitter Chocolate carpet with metallic bronze leather binding, Sill and engine plaques signed by Dr Bez, Front seat headrests with embroidered with Dr Bez signature.

The unique UB-2010 edition DBS Volante was limited to just 20 units, of which this is number 12. Our research, confirmed by the Aston Martin Heritage Trust, confirms this to be one of 13 Volantes actually built of which only 3 produced for the UK market. The UB-2010 DBS Volante is both sumptuously finished and exceptionally rare.

Built and supplied new in 2010 to its first and only owner, the car has covered 13,320 miles and been serviced, annually, by Aston Martin from new. Presented in immaculate condition throughout, this example has benefitted from Aston Martin Extended Warranty cover throughout its ownership.

Complete with all original unique specifications, including UB-2010 inscriptions, bespoke car cover, 4-piece Bronze Metallic fitted luggage set, original umbrella, wind deflector and battery conditioner.
