Description

This classic car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button. .Here you see a 12-cylinder engine with 6 litres displacement, 48 valves and a manual 6-speed gearbox by the English luxury brand Aston Martin.

Aston Martin's successful DB7 was available with six-cylinder turbocharged engines for several years and was completely revised and technically upgraded in 1999. The car was given better brakes, a more stable chassis and large long-distance spotlights integrated into the front bumper. But most notably, it was the brand's first V12. Designed by Scotsman Ian Callum, the DB7 is sure to make a great collector's item. With 420 hp, it is more powerful than the Ferrari Modena or the Porsche GT3 from the same period. The Aston sprints from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 sec and easily reaches a top speed of 270 km/h.

The body was painted in a beautiful dark blue metallic. You can tell that the car has been driven little and in nice weather. Simply a stunning convertible. The interior is also impressive, with a beautiful combination of white leather and polished burl wood. This wonderful convertible has always been excellently maintained. All the accompanying booklets are included, as are a variety of documentaries from the past. The car was serviced annually and the registration never ran over the winter. It still has signs of use, but that is completely normal due to the age of the vehicle. The soft top has small cracks on both sides (see photos) but these can be repaired by a good saddler on the existing soft top. The windscreen has a small stone chip (see photo) and the leather shows simple signs of wear. Nevertheless, the Aston Martin is in good shape, even the appraiser was positively impressed by the condition of the vehicle, except for the listed defects. A German road registration has not yet been applied for. The last time the car was registered was in The Netherlands.
The model is a joy to drive and is a great experience because of its right-hand drive alone, which is very close to the original.

You are also welcome to come and see this wonderful Aston Martin for yourself to admire it in its natural beauty. The car is in our showroom in Zwickau, Germany. It can also be collected there.
