Description

This delightful DB4 was dispatched by the works on July 5th 1963 and delivered to its first owner, a Mr S.F.Craggs, in Yorkshire on July 20th. Originally finished in California Sage with Fawn interior and fitted with a ‘Special Series’ engine, overdrive, chrome wire wheels and heated rear screen

Believed one of sixteen ‘open headlight’ DB4 Series 5 saloon’s fitted with the high performance ‘SS’ engine which featured three HD8 SU carburettors and a revised cylinder head which combined gave an increased power output of 266bhp

By 1975 the DB4 had emigrated to Dunedin in New Zealand where it remained for the next forty years, carrying the registration ‘HT2360’

Fully restored to concours condition in New Zealand by marque specialists, the DB4 was repatriated to the UK in 2015 and is presented today in attractive silver coachwork with red leather hide and carpets.
