Description

This fantastic DB4, one of only 165 examples built of that Series, was delivered to the Gosford Tool & Equipment Ltd. in Coventry on the 7th July 1961. Originally in «Dubonnet Rosso» with a tan interior, the car presents itself in a striking Light Green metallic with a Red leather interior. From 1975 the DB4 resided in Canada where it had two owners, and where a restoration was started about 10 years ago. 5 years ago the car was imported into Austria and the restoration completed. Recently a new fuel tank was installed. Over the years, the car’s engine has been replaced with an identical unit from a Series 2 car. The coachwork, made in the classical «supperleggera» manner with an aluminium skin draped over a light and stiff construction of small diameter steel tubes, was repainted and is completely corrosion free! The Aston drives very well indeed and a large number of maintenance and restoration records document the car’s history. The DB4 has EU papers and is currently NOT taxed in Switzerland.
