Trade-in car. One very nice Alvis TD21. The car is nice but not perfect. It is an older restoration that seen action and been enjoyed since then as should be the case. The car is suitable for a full restoration or can just as easily be used for a Sunday spin in the country. The paintwork is generally in good order with some light blemishes. The leather upholstery has developed a lovely patina. The carpets were replaced more recently and are in good condition. The boot carpeting is also still neat. The car still has its spare wheel. Although not perfect the wooden dashboard is quite neat. The fine bodywork has nice and thin, correctly aligned panelwork. The bodywork shows a few minor bumps and grazes, but nothing structural. The sound chassis is rock solid. Mechanically the Alvis has been correctly maintained. The 3.0-litre straight-six still delivers ample power. It has a 4-speed manual transmission, that shifts smoothly and precisely. The dashboard instruments are complete and all in good working order. The brightwork is neat and complete. The used hood is still neat and closes securely. A tonneau cover matching the seating colour is provided for those days that you want to enjoy a fully topless experience. This Alvis has been owned by the same person since 1999 and comes with an extensive amount of documentation. There are many invoices, a huge amount of technical data as well as the original owner’s manual. If you are looking for an Alvis TD 21 to enjoy, then this is the car for you.
