The Alpine A110 berlinette with the serial number 16968 was produced in 1970 and registered on February 26th, 1971. Its Rouge Italien body has the number 3816. Its first owner had acquired it for the purpose of racing, it is why he made it evolve in group IV, including wide wings, a central tank, bigger brakes, the box 364 etc ... In fact, almost all the accessories dedicated to the competition and proposed by Alpine were installed at the time on the car. After its racing career, the car was stored for many years until 1999, when it has been sold for the first time. Thus it was bought and restored by Pierre Mondy who put it in a configuration close to the origin. The tank was kept, as was the box 364 (big box for intimates), the big brakes, the heated windshield, but also the offset oil filter and the two electric fuel pumps fixed under the body with inversion for the reserve at the dashboard. The car is also equipped with the "small chassis", or, one of the few copies to have a chassis designed for the attachment of the 1300 as the 1600. All these pieces are period equipment offered by Alpine. The car is now in the hands of its third owner since 2005. It retains its original color, as well as many other period pieces. It is a very efficient car, eligible in all the historic rallies, whether it's the Tour Auto or the Monte Carlo! It will be sold with an important file, including maintenance invoices, history, including old titles.
