Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 Bertone 1973 ”Alfons”
Impressive restoration of the iconic GTV with the most powerful 2-liter engine.

The GTV 2000 was the final evolution of the Giulia Sprint GT introduced in 1963. This example was bought from its latest owner i Stockholm in februari 2014. There are documents for the total history of the car. Original mileage is unknown, after total restoration it has been rolling 2400 km up till today. My goal was to create an exceptional example and I decided to go through the entire car to make the standard of finish and condition to a show room level and a ”fast road/trackday” performance. All matching numbers. Alfons has been approved as a "classic car" here in Finland. All different stages of the restoration process are documented with pictures. The car is in Finland in the Vasa area, more exactly in Närpes. I can be helpful with contacts when it comes to transportation.
In my opinion I succeeded quite well and ”Alfons” is indeed very fun to drive.
