This car, chassis number 177202 was sold new in Sweden and first registered the 21st of March 1962 in Malmö with the registration number M47876. It was delivered in Alfa´s cream white and ran in the South of Sweden during the 60s. In 1970 it was registered OA55896 and went to Gothenburg where it passed through 4 owners during the 70s, one of them was well-known Bugatti and Ferrari collector Kent Olsson. It was registered in 1974 with its current licence plate AFS321 and sold to Maserati restorer and FIA inspector Lars Widenborg's wife Christina Widenborg on the 1st of September 1984. Christina Widenborg took the interior out and lowered the car, fitted a roll-bar and prepared it for racing. She raced with the car in local Swedish races and the latest FIA papers that we have are from 2008.
During the last 4 years it has been put back into its original configuration by DICKA BIL AB in Fors, Sweden and has just very recently been finished. It is today presented for sale fresh out of restoration and it is very nice to see one in this rare and very beautiful colour.
