The Giulietta is more than just a car, it was immediately understood at the 1954 Turin Motor Show on the day of its presentation, now 66 years ago.
Always young and charming, aggressive and elegant at the same time, with the bodywork designed by Bertone, which wears the refined Portello mechanics, it is a true GT that has fascinated the world.
The car we present is a pre-series from the spring of 1955, produced on May 20 and sold on May 24 in Sweden to the Bonniers dealership in Stockholm (to remember Bonniers and his sports career, full of successes also with Alfa Romeo cars) .
It remained in Sweden until 1997, then sold in Holland to an Alfa Romeo collector who has always kept it, sold only two years ago to an Italian collector residing in New York, who for the lack of possibility to use it decided to sell it.
Despite its 65 years it has managed to keep its original rims (a real rarity), it has mechanics in good efficiency and a revision has recently been made regarding the braking system and the chassis.
The upholstery has been recently restored preserving the original liveries.
The original color is AR 201 green, the engine is matching with its original Solex carburettor.
A wide documentation that traces the whole history of the car from its birth until today.
