The 1900C SuperSprint can be considered as the epitome of the 1900 model and the basis for all future aerodynamic Alfa Romeo coupés.
Thanks to the Superleggera Touring body and the most powerfull TI engine development (115 BHP) this 3-rd series 3 window Coupé possesed a an excellent power to weight ratio which translated in a top speed of 190 Km/h.
Only 854 SuperSprints were produced between 1955 and 1958.
This Alfa Romeo 1900 SuperSprint was initially sold new in Switzerland, transitted in 1971 to France and arrived in 1995 in Belgium where in 2005 a well known collector starts a lenghty body-off restoration which was only finished in 2017.
Chassis AR1900C 10481 is finished in the attractive color combination of Azzuro Verde Oceano with a dark green roof and matching interior. Other interesting features are the Nardi remote gear linkage on the floor and the sparkling Borrani wheels.
Today this 3-rd series Alfa Romeo 1900 CSS is in super restored condition and absolutely ready to be enjoyed.
Comes with Belgian registration documents and a large documentation file with notes and invoices regarding the restoration.
