Description

The one-liter version of the Le Mans was launched at the 1984 Milan Motor Show and produced with minor modifications until 1993.
949 cm³ engine with increased 40 mm B10 carburetors and a racing-derived camshaft capable of developing a power of 81 HP at 7000 rpm.
This is the first time that a 16 "front wheel has been adopted on a sporty Moto Guzzi, with a consequent modification of the front axle.
The design is more streamlined than the previous Le Mans, with new side panels incorporated into the rear fender, an additional spoiler under the oil pan and a slightly different windshield from that of the previous versions. The exhausts are completely black including the collectors and the livery is Moto Guzzi red.
Gas fork, with Koni rear shock absorbers with black external spring.
In 1986 the Le Mans 1000 underwent a further restyling, with the black engine block, new white / red livery, red saddle and new decorations.
