Gilera's successful VT single cylinder series was an integral part of the Lombard company's pre-war production. With power ratings ranging from 20 to 24 horsepower and known as 4 or 8 bolts, these powerful single-cylinder bikes were at the forefront of technology and performance. In fact, many riders took part in the competition with these motorcycles. The success of the VT series prepared the ground for the most famous Saturno, which was introduced in 1941 and remained in production until 1959.
Coming from an important Turin collection of cars and motorcycles, this VT 500 Quattro Bulloni is in good condition but it lacks its original documents and is de-registered and it is supplied with its ASI documents.
