Goodwood 2011 Dates

The Earl of March has announced provisional dates for Goodwood’s two top motoring events in 2011. Goodwood’s Festival of Speed hillclimb is set for 1-3 July, while the Goodwood Revival race meeting on the circuit, when all visitors are encouraged to dress appropriately in 1940s-1960s style, will be held on 16-18 September.

On Thursday 30 June, the day before the hillclimb starts, the second Goodwood Moving Motor Show will take place, enabling invited guests to drive new cars up the famous hill in front of Goodwood House.

As usual, admission to both Goodwood motorsport events will be strictly by advance ticket only, with 2011 ticket sales starting on 1 November 2010. All orders placed before January 2011 will benefit from a VAT saving of 2.5 per cent.

New for 2011, young people aged between 13 and 18 can purchase Festival of Speed and/or Revival tickets for half the full adult price. Previously, all visitors aged 13 or over were charged at full price. Entrance for children of 12 years or under remains free of charge, as does all car parking.

Book online via the Ticket section of the website www.goodwood.com/motorsport or by telephone: +44 1243 755055.
