Bright lights, big city – New York by night

Nowhere are the lights of the big city as magical as in New York. Now photographer Frank Bohbots has documented the ‘city that never sleeps’ in these impressive images…

Although New York may no longer be the renowned ‘centre of the world’, the neon signs and lampposts that illuminate Manhattan’s towering buildings by night still hold a very special appeal. The French-born but Brooklyn-based photographer Frank Bohbots has captured the nocturnal nostalgia of the city and the most beautiful play of light in these melancholic images. They feature in a new 176-page illustrated book with accompanying English, German and French text – the perfect ‘walking map’ for your own late-night strolls in the Big Apple.
