Our top 10 cars from Artebellum’s Automobiles de Collection auction

Unlike the typical auction, with cars slowly crossing the block and a small fraction of time afforded to place a bid, online auction house Artebellum has given the contemplative bidder an opportunity to reenter the bidding process days later. And there’s still time to bid on its latest offerings…

Eleventh hour

With over 60 per cent of the lots in its Automobiles de Collection auction originally hailing from the land of la dolce vita, it’s safe to say that Artebellum is kicking off the summer season with a little Italian loving. Since 7 June, some bella macchine have been open to public bids, but with today being the final day of the sale, many are starting to warm up their pointer fingers and prepare for the internet bidding battle, as the very selective offering from the Parisian auction company features some very click-worthy examples, from the two-owners-from-new 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale 1600 and the matching-numbers 1968 Ferrari 250 GTE to the not-so-Italian but ever-so-popular 1967 Porsche 911S and the well-maintained 1957 Jaguar XK 140. Before final bids are taken at 19:00 CET, take a look at our top 10 picks, or alternatively, check out the entire lot list in the Classic Driver Market.
