Having been a part of all six lunar missions, the legendary Speedmaster is an impressive representation of the brand’s adventurous pioneering spirit. At the heart of this chronograph is OMEGA’s mechanical calibre 1861 with 18 jewels, with a high-grade rhodium-plated finish on the movement, the legendary manual-winding movement worn on the Moon. Which runs great and all functions work as expected. This model features a black dial, graced by a small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder along with a central chronograph hand. Holding white indexes and central hour and minute hands.The black bezel, with its tachymetric scale, is mounted on a 42mm stainless steel case excluding the crown and 48mm from lug to lug is in very good condition throughout, with minor surface scratches that are to be expected on any watch of this age. The back lid signed "The First Watch Worn On The Moon", "Flight-Qualified By Nasa Fo All Manned Space Missions". The winding crown is completely original and correctly signed with the famous “Omega” logo.
