Original OMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch “Gemini VII" Ref. 3597.05.00, which is one of OMEGA’s most iconic timepieces. This is a limited edition piece. The Speedmaster Professional Patch Gemini VII is part of the 1997-1998 Mission series. It bears a patch commemorating the 1965 Gemini VII mission at 9 o'clock. At the heart of this chronograph is OMEGA’s mechanical calibre 1861 with 18 jewels, with a high-grade rhodium-plated finish on the movement, the legendary manual-winding movement. Which runs great and all functions work as expected. Simple and rugged in design, perfectly protected against shocks, magnetism and temperature variations. This "space watch" provides hour and minute display with small second hand; a chronograph for measuring elapsed times from 1/5 of second to 12 hours with: a 60-second totalizer (60 seconds hand), a 30-minute totalizer and a 12-hour totalizer. Original black dial with luminous indexes and with the "Gemini VII" logo at "9" o'clock. The black bezel, with its tachymetric scale, is mounted on a 42mm stainless steel case excluding the crown and 48mm from lug to lug is in very good condition throughout, with minor surface scratches that are to be expected on any watch of this age. The back lid signed "Flight-Qualified By Nasa For All Manned Space Missions", "The First Watch Worn On The Moon". The winding crown is completely original and correctly signed with the famous “Omega” logo.
