Very rare and unique Omega Seamaster Memomatic watch from 1971

The Memomatic is an alarm wristwatch issued by Omega in 1970. It is the first watch produced by Omega with the alarm feature. It is the only doubly-automatic alarm and calendar watch which rings to the minute. The movement of the Memomatic is the Omega 980, created in 1968 by Raoul-Henri Erard and produced from the following year by Lemania. A total of 35 000 units of this movement were built. The system of setting the date on the Memomatic is completely original. It is independent of the time-setting device. It is controlled by a pushbutton, recessed between the control button and the winding crown.

Watch is in perfect condition. Stainless steel case is in great condition. It has been polished. Acrylic crystal is clear. The dial is in original very good condition. High grade movement is after watchmaker service. It keeps accurate time very well. All functions work perfectly.
Serial number of the movement: 33322409 dates the watch to 1971.
Watch comes with brand new navy blue strap and genuine Omega-signed buckle.
