The traditional Japanese double cranes flying scene symbolises good fortune and longevity. It is hand painted, using the Togidashi Maki-e technique for the background and the double cranes are painted together using the gold, red and silver Hira-Maki-e technique. Fine 18ct gold #10 nib. Includes original wooden box and ink bottle.
