Fine, gilt-metal, painted on enamel and pearl-set pocket watch with center-seconds
and duplex escapement.
Three-body, "empire", pearl-set bezel, pendant and bow, reeded band, the back
cover decorated with a painted on enamel figure of a young lady in 18th century
costume holding a fan, translucent green enamel background over radial engine-
turning, pearl-set border. Hinged cuvette.
White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Gilt ovoid hands.
47 mm. matte gilded and foliate engraved, "Chinese" calibre, standing barrel,
jeweled duplex escapement, five-arm polished steel balance, flat balance spring,
index regulator.
