Cartier, No. 885/577. Made circa 1920.
Very fine and rare, nephrite, yellow gold and enamel 8-day
going desk clock.
Circular, nephrite, inclined edges, yellow gold bezel
decorated with white enamel and stylized leaf pattern, Bakelite-
type back and hinged gilt-brass strut.
Matte silver with radial Roman numerals, outer minute
track, sun-ray guilloche center. Yellow gold pierced graduated
circle hands with arrowhead tips.
19''', rhodium-plated, fausses côtes decoration, 15 jewels,
straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation
balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
