The History
In 1977 Porsche introduced the 911 SC (Super Carrera), which replaces all other "non-turbo" versions the displacement is 2994 cm³ with a power of 188 hp.
The new SC represents the entry level 911 in the simplified range of only 2 models: SC and Turbo. Performance of the 911 SC 3.0: from 0–100 kph in 6.3 seconds and maximum speed of 223 kph. The SC was available in the Coupé and Targa versions and was launched at a time when the German company's management believed that the 911 was an outdated model, destined to be gradually replaced by the Porsche 928, launched in the same year and equipped with a new water-cooled V8 engine, front mounted and transaxle mechanics. In 1981, the power of the SC was increased to 204 hp, with 0–100 kph performance in 5.9 seconds and 240 kph of maximum speed. The commercial success of the 911 SC 3.0 was so exciting worldwide that with its 57,972 built, it changed Porsche's mind about the liking and exclusivity enjoyed by the 911 on the market. Even today the 911 remains a car that has entered the myth by right.

Our Porsche 911 SC
The car is in excellent condition of both bodywork and mechanical parts, after a recent revision that mainly involved many mechanical components. The engine has been overhauled and some parts replaced and today this car is able to deliver all its original power.
The body has been repainted in its original metallic light blue color and has no scratches or damage. New external grilles, handles, moldings, frames and coats of arms.
The original alloy wheels have been refurbished and mount new tires. The brakes have been restored and the discs rectified. The internal instrumentation is original and fully functional. The seats are made of black leather and fabric and scratch-free, the original steering wheel.
