This DBS V8, chassis number 10163/R, was first registered in 1971 to the chairman of a woodworking company in Leeds and has a fully documented record of ownership from new. It has benefited from recent chassis, bodywork, engine/drivetrain work, including a full respray in 2007. Sensible mechanical improvements have been made to the ignition, illumination and handling/brakes to make the car suitable for 21st Century motoring whilst retaining the look and feel of David Brown’s finest creation. Formerly owned by an AMOC racing driver, the current owner describes himself as an enthusiast whose book on the marque, "Aston Martin V8” features this car prominently in the DBS V8 chapter. The car has covered less then 88,000 miles, of which only 8,000 miles have been covered in the last 8 years.
