Featuring strong articulation front and rear, with slight tail-fins - echoing the transatlantic styling ‘in-vogue' at the time, the Amazon's bodywork was constructed of phosphate-treated steel with heavy use of under-coating and anti-corrosive oil treatments.

The lively 66bhp 120 series engine outperformed many sports-cars of the time, being equipped with a 4 speed gearbox often with overdrive.
