I've had the same conversation so many times this year I have lost count -- I think the 981 GT4s are a sweet spot of value for a modern Porsche GT car that is imminently usable. I've driven the snot out this one (with love and care!), and can confirm, these things are awesome.

Transmission replacement (Porsche service campaign WJ88) at 18K miles – this is a known issue with the 981 GT4s, and Porsche replaced the transmission on cars at no charge. Owner also elected to fit a new clutch/flywheel assembly since the car was apart, and only cost him the parts at $900. Therefore the clutch and transmission have only ~12K miles on them.
