Built on 11th October 1966, it was despatched on the 10th of February 1967 to Aston Dealer Cyril Williams Motors Limited of wolverhampton. The certified factory records show that it had a Vantage Engine, Chrome Wheels, Heated Rear Windscreen, Three ear hub caps, Motorola radio and Powered aerial. The build record also states, 'improved Vantage conversion on 31st July 1967'. Further records show that it has had four owners in total: 1967 to 1973, 1973 to 1975, 1975 to 2015, 2015 to today.The last known MOT was in 1976 with a mileage of 38,484. After that it remained in storage for 40 years. In late 2015 the car was bought with assistance from Aston Martin Works before undergoing a full body-off factory restoration at the Newport Pagnell factory where it was orinally built.A photographic record produced by Aston Martin of the car's restoration along with a photograph file, is available for inspection.
