"The Mercedes-Benz 722 Edition refers to a limited-edition variant of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren supercar. It was introduced in 2007 to commemorate the historic victory of Stirling Moss and his co-driver Denis Jenkinson in the 1955 Mille Miglia race, where they drove a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR with the race number 722. The SLR McLaren 722 Edition was a more focused and performance-oriented version of the standard SLR.
