From 1955 to 1962, only 2,537 units were produced in this version.
Originally, this BMW left the factory in November 1960. The first registration was in Germany, after which the car came to the Netherlands in 1965. The current owner has owned the BMW since 1987.

In the 1970s, the interior was reupholstered with black faux leather upholstery.
The beautiful metallic paint was professionally renewed in 2005 and is a very nice combination with the black interior which is finished with a beautiful wooden dashboard. The switches and gear shift knob are made of 'Ivory'. The beige carpet has recently been renewed and is beautifully finished with piping.

The very extensive and well-documented history consists of a binder with, among other things, the birth certificate, bills (worth €14,500 and a recent valuation report.

In 2007, the engine was thoroughly addressed and equipped with new bearings, piston rings and seals. The clutch disc was also equipped with new friction material. The braking system with brake booster and the optional Dunlop disc brakes on the front wheels has recently been overhauled.

Another fun piece of BMW trivia: did you know that the clock in the interior can be wound manually?

The fittings of the sills, mudguards, doors, bonnet and boot lid have a great fit.
