A pair of Ferrand-style allegorical figures, in composite metal, circa 1909. One is a woman perched on a car, holding a steering wheel in one hand and a headlight in the other. The second is a man perched on a plane flying over the earth, holding a propeller at arm's length. Both are mounted on a wooden base imitating marble and each bearing the words "Automobile" or "Aeroplane" on a cartouche. H: 72 cm.

Couple de personnages allégoriques dans le gout de Ferrand, en métal composé, circa 1909. L'un représente une femme juchée sur une voiture et tenant d'une main un volant et de l'autre un phare. Le second est un homme juché sur un avion survolant la terre, il tend une hélice à bout de bras. Les deux sont montés sur un socle en bois imitant le marbre et portant chacun sur un cartouche "Automobile" ou "Aéroplane". H: 72 cm.
