Nice Citroën 2 CV 6 in Transat colours. This 2 CV was built in 1986 as a regular Special. The previous owner started to restore the 2 CV in 2004. A new galvanised chassis (with a new stamped number) has been installed, and even the entire bodywork has been galvanised. That will not rust anymore.

Neither will the polyester back windows. Therefore the foot wells, the bottom, the entry in the back, the spare wheel well, even the paravan around the ventilation flap are solid. The car was painted white in-house and fitted with a Transat interior, hood and stickers. All new.

As you can see, the bodywork unfortunately has some damage here and there. The wiring has been replaced and additionally secured. Due to personal circumstances, the 2 CV has not been inspected since 2005. With a new battery installed, it is fully driving and braking again.

Some things need to be checked, such as the brake lights, bumper rosettes still need to be mounted and maybe the new Whitewall edges on the tires. In fact, it needs some further finishing on the bodywork and mechanics. The Citroën is also equipped with an original tow bar.

It comes with some extra parts, such as extra insulation, the original special dashboard, the winter grille and the new heater pipes.
