This striking yellow (Jordan Grand Prix) model is notable for its “younger aesthetics”, launched by racing legend Michael Schumacher in 1996 from the karting track in Kerpen.
This unusual Speedmaster is a smaller version of the classic Moonwatch series, considered an important landmark in the Omega lineage.; the only Speedmaster Reduced that Omega listed in the official timeline.
It has an automatic movement ETA 2890-A2 caliber with a Dubois-Dépraz 2020 chronograph module that Omega renamed as caliber 1141.
Omega had made an effort here to create a better balance with the positioning of the sub-dials at 9 and 3 o'clock, adding so much more appeal to the watch.
