Beschreibung

This exceptional Maserati Khamsin is one of only 430 produced, and one of just 212 European-spec, left-hand drive examples. It is powered by a 4.9L V8 engine and features matching numbers throughout. Finished in a striking color combination of black paint over Fungo leather interior, this Khamsin remains in immaculate condition with just 1,300 kilometers from new.

It was delivered new in Geneva to His Highness Sheikh Hammad Al Thani, a noted car collector and member of the Qatari royal family. Shortly thereafter, the car was acquired directly from Sheikh Al Thani by its second owner, who preserved it in climate-controlled storage.

In May 2001, it was sold to its third owner at the Bonhams & Brooks auction of the Swiss Maserati Importer Collection, held during Les Grandes Marques à Monaco Sale. He drove the car for only 95 kilometers before consigning it once more at a Bonhams auction in Monaco in 2008. At that time, the odometer read just 1,299 kilometers.

The Khamsin was then purchased by His Highness Sheikh Nasser Mohamed Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, who imported it to Kuwait, where it saw minimal use. It remained with him for the next 14 years before we acquired it in 2021.

As one of the final European left-hand drive Khamsins built—third from last overall—this is a rare opportunity to own a beautifully preserved, collector-grade example of Maserati’s iconic GT.
