Fredrick Gordon Crosby (British, 1885-1943), '1914 French Grand Prix de Lyon', signed and titled 'Lyon 1914' to lower right, watercolour, gouache and charcoal heightened with white on artists' board, race scene depicting eventual winner Christian Lautenschlager in the Mercedes Type 18/100 Grand Prix leading 4th place finisher Jules Goux in the Peugeot L45, descending the 'Piege de la Mort' switchback at the Lyon circuit at the event held on 4th July, 44 x 33cm, mounted, framed and glazed.
