At the end of the 1950s, the 125 cc displacement was the market’s favourite as it allowed manufacturers to offer models that were inexpensive to buy and use, with sufficient performance. On the Italian market, the contenders had important names: Gilera, MV Agusta, Moto Morini and decidedly important and successful models. Moto Guzzi certainly could not miss this great opportunity and, in 1959, presented the model called ‘Stornello’, with two versions: Turismo and Sport. Open double-cradle frame with steel tubes, telescopic fork, swingarm and telehydraulic shock absorbers, a 125cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine inclined forward by 25°. Very well restored, running and with documents. An excellent opportunity to buy a classic Italian motorcycle of the late 1950s. A general mechanical check is recommended before use.
