Beautiful 404 from 1965 in the great colour Bleu Ciel.

This 404 has been in the Netherlands since 1998 and owned by the current owner for the last 3 years.

Technically and cosmetically addressed in recent years. Most of the paintwork is still original (stone chips have been touched up).

It has a beautiful blue fabric interior with a front armrest. If necessary, there is also a very good leatherette interior.

The tyres are still as good as new and the front shock absorbers were replaced last year.
I tackled the engine block last autumn and mounted a completely new gasket set. The block was completely disassembled and cleaned. The cylinder bushes were taken out, the foot gaskets were replaced. The block doesn’t leak anymore.

Replaced last year:

-Spark plugs
-Spark plug cables (now silicone with different caps, therefore no more impact on the pipes)
-Electronic ignition installed
-New clutch with thrust bearing
-New engine gasket set
-Front shock absorbers
-Filters
-Oil, also from the gearbox.
-Cardan oil drained and replaced (the right oil, castor oil)
-Cylinder head, exchange head. Milled and without cracks.
-Valve seal rubbers
-Head gasket
-Water pump
-Carbon brush of the self-thinking fan

-Passed Dutch periodic vehicle inspections without any comments in recent years, exempt from Dutch inspections from this year.

I replaced the carburettor and tyres in recent years.
