Beschreibung

"The Morris Minor was a British economy car that made its debut at the Earl’s Court Motor Show in September 1948. Designed under the leadership of Alec Issigonis, over 1.3 million examples were manufactured from 1948 to 1971. Initially available as a two-door saloon and convertible, the range was subsequently expanded to include a four-door saloon in 1950, and a wood-framed estate, the Traveller, plus the panel van and pick-up variants in 1952.
This charming Pick-up was registered on 1st July 1969 and is presented in cream with a black vinyl interior. This rare Morris has been restored by the vendors engineering company and is a pleasant example of the model. During the refurbishment, which is photographically detailed in the file that accompanies this car, the body was stripped and repaired before a full respray. A new canvas roof was made and fitted by Larry Piper, the respected trimmer from Sparkford, Somerset, it was fitted over new hood hoops manufactured by the vendor. Further works include a side exhaust and general servicing. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document and offered without reserve."
