In the late '50s, Porsche's engineers decided to make a totally new sport car, to replace the existing 356 Model. The new Porsche 911 was a car with the classic features of the old 356, like the typical 2 Liters "Flat-Six" Engine, air-cooled and with "Solex" carburetor, but with new features to improve comfort and handling. In 1963 a Porsche 901 came out, but it was named 911 because the name was a Peugeot property. This particular specimen was sold in Italy, is in perfect shape and regularly running, the right choice for the "Porsche Flat-Six" lover.!
