Beschreibung

This beautifully presented example of the ultimate 930 Turbo claims desirable factory options, regular maintenance, and modest use by one caretaker for many years. According to a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this car was completed on October 14, 1988, and equipped with a limited slip differential, a shorter-throw shifter, sunroof, raised-hub steering wheel, and a Blaupunkt radio with amplifier system.

Specified for the US market, this Turbo was finished in black paint over linen upholstery. As reflected by numerous service invoices, the car was retained by an enthusiast based in Dallas, Texas, from 1989 through at least 2006, and it is believed to have remained in the Dallas area for the majority of its life. In September 2014, the Porsche was acquired by the consignor, a well-known collector residing in Southern California.

Currently displaying less than 60,000 original miles, this well-maintained 930 Turbo continues to deliver the sporty performance for which the model is renowned. Model year 1989 was the final time that Porsche produced the celebrated air-cooled 3.3-liter type M930/68 engine, and that iteration has accordingly become one of the most collectible in the Porsche Turbo evolution. Such a handsomely presented and well-preserved example would make a stellar addition to any collection.
