On electricity alone it covers up to 80 km, enough to handle the daily commute without the V6 ever getting involved. Beyond that it is simply a Cayenne, with the lower roofline of the Coupé.

Fun fact: the electric motor does not sit between the engine and the gearbox, but is built into the eight speed automatic itself. Nothing about the way the car drives gives away that there is a hybrid system in there.

Elektrisch haal je er tot 80 km mee, genoeg om het woonwerkverkeer af te handelen zonder dat de V6 eraan te pas komt. Daarbuiten is het gewoon een Cayenne, met het lagere daklijn van de Coupé.

Leuk detail: de elektromotor zit niet tussen de motor en de bak, maar in de achttraps automaat zelf ingebouwd. Daardoor merk je nergens aan de aandrijflijn dat er een hybride systeem in zit.
