The Talbot-Lago T15, also known as the “Lago Baby,” closely resembled its more powerful, elder sibling, the Record; though upon closer inspection, the Lago Baby was just 20 cm shorter. It was powered by a 2,696 cc inline six-cylinder engine, which produced an output of 75 hp or 15 CV (Cheval Fiscal).

This T15 Cabriolet is one of just 25 two-seat examples believed to have been produced. Additionally, this example is desirably equipped with a floor-shift manual gearbox, rather than the less sporting preselector unit found in most T15s. The Talbot’s earliest provenance is not known, but it is believed to have resided in France from new until being purchased and imported into the US by its current owner. The car is presented in an older, dark blue repaint performed by French restorer Tessier, with a contrasting tan leather interior, which possesses a wonderful patina and is believed by the consignor to be original. The T15 was recently serviced in March 2026 by Automotive Restorations of Stratford, Connecticut, ahead of its display at the Greenwich Concours d’Elegance in May. This T15 Cabriolet presents a worthy candidate for both continued preservation-class display or a complete concours restoration.
