Our example was completed at the factory on April 12, 1965, and ordered through the legendary Luigi Chinetti Motors of New York. Chassis 07177 was originally specified in Rosso over Beige Connolly, and is a matching-numbers example finished to an exceptionally desirable specification: left-hand drive, steel-bodied, short-nose, and factory-delivered with the coveted six-carburetor engine configuration, as confirmed by a copy of the original factory build sheet.

Built as assembly sequence #129 and fully documented by factory records, this 275 GTB has been Ferrari Classiche certified, with its Certificate of Authenticity confirming the matching numbers of the chassis, engine, and gearbox—the ultimate assurance of authenticity for the discerning collector.

The car was the subject of an extraordinary, no-expense-spared, nut-and-bolt restoration carried out between 2009 and 2010 by Bacchelli & Villa in Italy, widely regarded as one of the finest Ferrari restoration specialists in the world. Every element of the car was addressed during this comprehensive process: the body and chassis were completely disassembled, with meticulous attention paid to structural integrity, panel fit, and factory-correct finishes. The numbers-matching 3.3L V12 was rebuilt to exacting specifications, while the suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical systems were fully restored or renewed. The car was finished in Grigio over a luxurious Bordeaux interior, presenting beautifully both mechanically and cosmetically.

The car has since received recent service and inspection by GTO Motors in Varese, Italy, an official Ferrari Classiche service center, providing further peace of mind regarding its excellent mechanical condition and ongoing care.
