The name Meyers Manx is inseparably tied to the birth of dune buggy culture in the 1960s. Designed by the visionary American Bruce Meyers, the Manx combined the rugged chassis of the Volkswagen Beetle with a revolutionary lightweight fibreglass body. The result was a playful, nimble and above all unique car that fitted perfectly with the freedom and lifestyle of the Californian beaches.

The Meyers Manx quickly grew into a cult classic and became a worldwide symbol of fun, adventure and individuality. The later Manxter 2+2 brought more comfort and practical usability, without losing that pure buggy feeling. Thanks to the longer wheelbase and extra seats, this model also appealed to enthusiasts who wanted to combine the iconic design with everyday usability.

This particular example from 1969, originally delivered in the Netherlands, represents a special piece of buggy history. Cars like this are treasured today by collectors and connoisseurs for their authentic character and the direct link to one of the most influential niche models in automotive history.
