The Volkswagen Golf GTI 1.8 from 1989 offered here belongs to the much loved second generation (Mk2), a period in which the model grew up without losing its sporty character. The 1.8-litre engine was renowned for its reliability, lively performance and mechanical purity. In the 1980s this was the car for enthusiasts who craved sportiness but also valued German build quality and timeless design.

The car is entirely in its first paint, finished in the classic Alpine White, which considerably strengthens its authenticity and collector's value.

The interior in black cloth is also in sublime condition and breathes the atmosphere of the late 1980s: sporty, functional and unmistakably GTI. Everything about this car is right, from the fit of the panels to the presence of the interior. The accompanying documentation, including the original birth certificate, underlines the careful history of this Golf.
