The Ferrari California marked an important new chapter in the brand's history in 2008. It was the first Ferrari with a fully electric hardtop, seamlessly combining open-top driving with coupé comfort. The California also introduced a front-mounted V8 engine with a transaxle layout, delivering perfect weight distribution and a surprisingly practical Ferrari, without any compromise on sportiness.
This version from 03/2009 is fitted with the naturally aspirated 4.3 litre V8, good for an impressive 460 bhp. That propels the California from 0 to 100 km/h in around 4 seconds and on to a top speed of well over 310 km/h. The characteristic Ferrari soundtrack, combined with the elegant design and everyday usability, makes the California one of the most beloved Gran Turismo models to come out of Maranello.
