Ferrari F430 Grigio Silverstone
The chance of coming across a Ferrari F430 F1 as beautifully, as sharply, and as completely presented as this Grigio Silverstone example is about as big (read: small) as an Italian drinking a cappuccino without foam. A F430 in such a gray livery with a Beige interior is already a rare sight, but the fully documented history and immaculate condition make it truly unique! Even more so, stepping into the genuine Carbon Racing seats makes you feel like you’re in a brand-new supercar. A supercar originally delivered in Italy by SA.MO.CAR Spa in Rome and, since its relocation to the Netherlands in 2015, perfectly maintained by the specialists at Forza Service.
The last major service (including both new exhaust manifolds) was performed less than 3,000 km ago by Kroymans. Shortly before that, the Ferrari dealer also replaced the clutch (56,374 km).
All the more reason to fully enjoy the unparalleled driving experience this F430 has to offer. In addition to a masterful V8, the Ferrari is equipped with adaptive suspension, factory-delivered (!) Challenge wheels, ceramic brakes, Bi-Xenon lighting, 4-point harnesses, and a Hi-Fi audio system that only truly shines when the fabulous 8-cylinder is at rest. For enthusiasts, that day will never come…
Exterior
At the end of 2004, the Ferrari F430 was introduced as the successor to the 360 Modena. While the latter served as the basis for the F430, it was radically different in many areas. Especially in terms of design: the roofline, doors, trunk lid, glass engine cover, and parts of the fenders remained largely the same. But the bumpers, aerodynamics, and lighting units were completely overhauled.
This specific example is equipped with Bi-Xenon headlights and sits on the highly desirable Challenge wheels – famous for their racing character and the fact that they were standard on the Stradale version of the race-360. In this case, the wheels are factory-fitted; a rare find. Hidden behind them are Giallo brake calipers clamping onto ceramic discs. The Scuderia Ferrari shields on the front fenders are just as yellow.
Distinctive features of the F430 compared to the 360 Modena include narrower headlights, rear light units that appear ‘on’ the body, more streamlined dual-stem side mirrors, and an F430 badge on the driver’s side, larger air intakes in the front bumper, matching intakes behind the doors, and, of course, the imposing diffuser. The stunning Grigio Silverstone paintwork is flawless and makes a timeless impression. This is clearly a classic in the making!
Interior
Inside the cockpit, a generous dose of Italian style and finesse enhances the already striking overall impression. This comes in the form of Beige leather on the Carbon Racing seats – a unique combination!
What’s even more remarkable is that occupants feel like they are in a completely new Ferrari. Not in terms of design and tools – the F430 remains too pure for that – but in terms of condition, this example is indistinguishable from a supercar without any prior use. Seats, sun visors, center/tunnel console, door panels; wherever Beige leather is present, the condition is flawless. The Castoro floor mats, Nero leather dashboard and steering wheel, and carbon finish in the center console all seem untouched. Truly extraordinary!
You might have to look twice at the mileage next to the Giallo rev counter to believe this is indeed a pre-owned Ferrari. So buckle up that 4-point race harness, because this F430 doesn’t need a gentle break-in anymore!
Options & Extras
Not only will honest enthusiasts become envious of this Italian beauty, it’s equipped with an anti-theft system to keep uninvited guests at bay. They will never know how well the adaptive suspension feels or how convincingly the ceramic brakes perform. All they can do is marvel at details like the Bi-Xenon headlights. With the window down and the volume turned up, they might catch a hint of the Hi-Fi audio system + Bluetooth, though the magical Ferrari V8 sound will always take precedence…
Technology & Performance
No, this 8-cylinder is not muted by turbos. And no, the F430 does not need hybrid technology to deliver 490 genuine horsepower. A 4.3-liter engine and an F1 transmission are enough to sprint from 0–100 km/h in under 4 seconds.
While the Ferrari F430 has made significant gains in downforce compared to its predecessor, there’s no excessive drag. In fact, through 6 automated gears, our Italian rocket accelerates deafeningly fast – seamlessly continuing up to an impressive top speed of 315 km/h. These are no longer made: the true ‘analog’ supercars…
Welcome to Nunspeet. Disclaimer: in real life, she’s even more stunning.
Kind regards,
Team Prins
