As confirmed by the Certificate of Origin issued by Alfa Romeo, this vehicle features matching numbers. It was manufactured on December 17, 1953, and sold shortly thereafter on December 29 of the same year in Novara, specifically in the small town of Sozzago, located nearby.
The exterior color has been faithfully preserved. Both the interior and exterior have undergone a conservative restoration to address age-related wear and damage. This restoration was carried out by Toppino Restyling, a renowned specialist based in Cuneo, Italy.
The car has had two previous owners. The first was Cavaliere Francesco Rognoni—the title Cavaliere denoting a form of knighthood, which in the 1950s held noble connotations and today refers to the honorific Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana. While information on the Rognoni family is limited, they are recognized as a prominent lineage in Novara, and their historic villa residence still stands in Sozzago.
The second owner was Giorgio Marinone, a respected political figure from Novara and a distinguished representative of the Italian Liberal Party, who passed away in 2022.
