Im Jahr 1955 plante Jaguar 100 Fahrzeuge des D-Type zu bauen, konnte aber nur 75 fertigstellen. Jaguar Classic möchte diesen Plan nun realisieren und baute nochmal 25 historisch korrekte Fahrzeuge.
