HISTORY/DOCUMENTATION
The Toyota Land Cruiser: an iconic off-road vehicle that has been in production since 1951, enjoyed worldwide success, and is still being built today. This 60 series model (FJ60) was delivered new in the United States in 1984. In 2017, the car was exported from the US state of New Mexico to Belgium. The export document is still available. In 2019, the car was imported to the Netherlands, where it is still owned by its first Dutch owner: a collector who owns a collection of several cars. In the Netherlands, the car has been extensively maintained and prepared for rally driving, with no expense spared and originality being of paramount importance. Extensive documentation is available. The car also comes with a valuation report, dynamometer printout and even the original Owners Manual.

INTERIOR MODIFICATIONS
The interior has been extensively refurbished, also to prepare the car for rally driving. Recaro sports seats have been installed and the rear seat has been removed and replaced with custom-made lockable storage compartments and drawers, including parts, which extend into the cargo area. Here you will find everything you need for challenging rallies, such as extra 12V connections, a fire extinguisher, work lights, first aid kit, etc. This investment of approximately €15,000 (2020/2021) is offered at an additional cost of €7,500. Without the additional cost, the car comes with the original front seats and rear seat, which are in very good condition.

EXTERIOR
Where other models often show signs of rust, this model is in very good and original condition with only minimal rusting on the rear wheel arches and tailgate. The car has been fully treated against rust. The car is beautifully finished in the colour “Desert beige” with distinctive striping (which has been reapplied). H4 clear headlights and LED spotlights have been fitted at the front. The exterior mirrors have been replaced. A “Thule” roof rack has been fitted to the roof. The car is equipped with a special suspension package. This raises the car, giving it an impressive appearance. The windows are tinted green all round. An electric antenna was installed in 2024. The paintwork has been repainted in the past. The overall visual condition is robust with only minor signs of wear.

INTERIOR
The interior features air conditioning, a main power switch and a newly installed radio with Bluetooth. The sky leather/fabric interior has been reupholstered where necessary and is therefore in very good condition. The overall interior is in good, original condition with no damage.

TECHNICAL
The 4.2-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine is coupled to a 4-speed gearbox. The drive can be set to different positions using a separate lever: high range 2-wheel drive, high range 4-wheel drive and low range 4-wheel drive. The differential was overhauled in 2019. The chrome steel rims are fitted with new off-road tyres. The car drives and shifts well. In 2020, the car was tested on a roller bench by a specialist company, with a power output of 134 hp @ 3759 rpm and 300 Nm @ 2079 rpm.

GESCHICHTE/DOKUMENTATION
Der Toyota Land Cruiser: ein legendärer Geländewagen, der seit 1951 gebaut wird, weltweit ein großer Erfolg war und immer noch gebaut wird. Dieses Modell der 60er-Serie (FJ60) wurde 1984 neu in den Vereinigten Staaten ausgeliefert. Im Jahr 2017 wurde das Auto aus dem US-Bundesstaat New Mexico nach Belgien exportiert. Das Exportdokument dafür ist noch vorhanden. Im Jahr 2019 wurde das Auto in die Niederlande importiert, wo es sich noch immer im Besitz des ersten niederländischen Eigentümers befindet: einem Sammler, der eine Sammlung von mehreren Autos besitzt. In den Niederlanden wurde das Auto umfassend gewartet und für Rallyefahrten vorbereitet, wobei keine Kosten gescheut wurden und Originalität großgeschrieben wurde. Ausführliche Unterlagen sind vorhanden. Außerdem liegen unter anderem ein Gutachten, ein Rollentestbericht und sogar das originale Benutzerhandbuch zum Auto vor.

ANPASSUNGEN IM INNENRAUM
Der Innenraum wurde umfassend überarbeitet, auch um das Auto für Rallyes vorzubereiten. So wurden Recaro-Sportsitze eingebaut und die Rückbank entfernt und durch maßgefertigte, abschließbare Staufächer und Schubladen einschließlich Ersatzteilen ersetzt, die bis in den Laderaum reichen. Darin findet sich alles, was man für anspruchsvolle Rallyes benötigt, wie zusätzliche 12-V-Anschlüsse, ein Feuerlöscher, Arbeitsscheinwerfer, Erste-Hilfe-Kasten usw. Diese Investition von ca. 15.000 € (2020/2021) wird gegen einen Aufpreis von 7.500 € angeboten. Ohne Aufpreis wird das Fahrzeug mit den originalen Vordersitzen und der Rückbank geliefert, die sich in einem sehr guten Zustand befinden.

AUSSEN
Während andere Exemplare oft Rost aufweisen, befindet sich dieses Exemplar in einem sehr guten und originalen Zustand mit nur minimaler Rostbildung an den hinteren Radkästen und der Heckklappe. Das Fahrzeug wurde vollständig gegen Rost behandelt. Das Fahrzeug ist wunderschön in der Farbe „Desert Beige” mit charakteristischen Streifen (die neu angebracht wurden) lackiert. An der Front sind H4-Scheinwerfer und LED-Fernlichtscheinwerfer angebracht. Die Außenspiegel wurden erneuert. Auf dem Dach ist ein „Thule”-Dachträger montiert. Das Fahrzeug ist mit einem speziellen Federungssatz ausgestattet. Dadurch steht das Fahrzeug höher, was ihm ein beeindruckendes Aussehen verleiht. Die Scheiben sind rundum grün getönt. Im Jahr 2024 wurde eine elektrische Antenne angebracht. In der Vergangenheit wurde die Lackierung neu aufgetragen. Der allgemeine optische Zustand ist robust mit nur leichten Gebrauchsspuren.

INTERIEUR
Die Innenausstattung umfasst unter anderem eine Klimaanlage, einen Hauptschalter und ein neu eingebautes Radio mit Bluetooth. Die Innenausstattung aus Sky-Leder/Stoff wurde bei Bedarf neu bezogen und befindet sich daher in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Das gesamte Interieur befindet sich in einem gepflegten, originalen Zustand ohne Beschädigungen.

TECHNISCH
Der 4,2-Liter-6-Zylinder-Benzinmotor ist mit einem 4-Gang-Getriebe gekoppelt. Der Antrieb kann über einen separaten Schalthebel auf verschiedene Positionen eingestellt werden: High Range 2-Rad-Antrieb, High Range 4-Rad-Antrieb und Low Range 4-Rad-Antrieb. Das Differential wurde 2019 überholt. Die verchromten Stahlfelgen sind mit neuen Geländereifen ausgestattet. Das Fahrzeug fährt und schaltet gut. Im Jahr 2020 wurde das Fahrzeug von einem Fachbetrieb auf dem Rollenprüfstand getestet, mit einer Leistung von 134 PS bei 3759 U/min und 300 Nm bei 2079 U/min.
