Beschreibung
1994 Jaguar XJ 220:
Offered here is one of the most iconic and ambitious supercars of the 1990s, the Jaguar XJ220. Originally unveiled as a concept in 1988 and entering limited production in 1992, the XJ220 was, for a time, the fastest production car in the world, reaching 341 km/h (212 mph) thanks to its 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 engine and lightweight aluminum body.
This particular example is a second hand car which has been maintained its entire life by Don Law Racing, the globally recognized authority on the XJ220. Its mechanical condition is second to none.
According to trusted sources, the car was ordered new by Mr. Luciano Benetton and gifted to Flavio Briatore as a personal reward for leading Benetton to the 1994 Formula One World Championship a unique piece of motorsport heritage. It is believed that Briatore never took delivery of its car and it would explain its first registration from 1997.
Finished in a rare and elegant argento over Black leather interior, this XJ220 is believed to be one of very few in this configuration, offering exclusivity to match its performance pedigree.
