The M117 4.5L V8 engine is a bored out version of the M116 3.5L engine that was only sold in America, in the W108 between 05/1971 and 11/1972.

The restoration was completed in 08/2022.
This car was inspected for sale at the end of May 2024, which proves that the car is 100% technically in order.
The interior is in good condition with no tears in the seats. There is a removable seat in the center console to form a 3-seater, with the armrests up this is a backrest. This was an exclusive option. A new carpet set was made.
The car always starts immediately. Drives, shifts and brakes very smoothly. You feel the torque of the big engine.
